Alabama native Yelawolf released the sequel to his breakout 2010 Trunk Muzik mixtape, Trunk Muzik Returns, in March though it looks like “Catfish Billy” isn’t wasting any time in releasing a new collection of music.

In a recent Instagram post, Yelawolf announced a collaborative project with Three Six Mafia rapper/producer DJ Paul that’ll find inspiration from heavy metal and hard rock.

“ZONED in Nashville .. The Legendary DjPaul of 3.6@djpaulkom and I have decided to do an Album !! .. Using ALL heavy metal and hard rock samples and inspiration .. Between this project and CountryCousins with #BigKrit .. My plate is full .. And my catalog .. Is getting stronger … Never saw this one coming .. But I’m fuckin glad it happened #SLUMERICAN #3.6MAFIA”

This isn’t the first time Yelawolf has worked with a Three Six Mafia member. His 2011 major label debut Radioactive (Shady/Ghet-O-Vision) saw a guest feature from Gangsta Boo on “Throw It Up” along with Eminem.
