Wiz Khalifa’s ‘O.N.I.F.C.’ album pushed back to September | Music News

Earlier today, we reported that Meek Mill‘s debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, had been pushed back from its initial August 28th release date. Now, another major name record has fallen to the same fate. Originally scheduled to be released on the 24th of this month, Wiz Khalifa‘s sophomore LP, O.N.I.F.C., will now hit shelves on September 18th.

The Taylor Gang chief made the announcement in an interview with Fuse, in which he shed further light on the album’s musical direction. Not only hinting at another hit record with “big hooks” and “all types of songs” (in other words, it’ll be pretty Poppy), Wiz revealed the producers involved. Sledgren, Cardo, E. Dan, Big Jerm, Pharrell, Jim Jonsin and Pop Wansel will all contribute.

Check out the interview below and stay tuned for Wiz Khalifa and Curren$y‘s joint mixtape, Live In Concert, coming August 9th, O.N.I.F.C. arriving at the later date of September 18th, and the Taylor Gang group project hitting the streets around October time.
