Watch Nas’ full Coachella 2014 set featuring JAY Z x Puff Daddy

Nasir Jones aka Nas has been hard at work to promote 20th anniversary re-release of his classic debut album Illmatic, re-titled Illmatic XX, with a series of live dates, TV appearances and more, and last night the Hip Hop icon took to the stage to close the second day of the Coachella festival with a full performance of the album as well as some major surprises.

When he got to the “The World Is Yours” portion of the setlist, the Queensbridge emcee cut the song out midway to surprise the festival attendees with a surprise appearance from the Brooklyn hailing God MC Jay Z, who performed the Nas sampling “Dead Presidents” and the classic “Where I’m From”, but the surprises didn’t end there.

At the end of his Illmatic set, Nasir went through a few more classics from his back catalogue and brought out showman extraordinaire Puff Daddy to perform the cinematic “Hate Me Now”. Watch the full performance below…
