Wale announces release date for ‘Self Made Vol. 2’ | Music News

The MMG takeover was in effect earlier today in New York City. Holding a much-hyped press conference this afternoon hosted by RapRadar CEO Elliott Wilson and featuring guest speakers Swizz Beatz and Diddy, Rick Ross and his Maybach Music team Wale and Meek Mill (and the newly recruited Omarion, aka “Maybach O”) had plenty to share.

Taking to the speaker’s podium, the DC link Wale revealed June 26th as the release date for the crew’s forthcoming compilation, Self Made Vol. 2. The project serves as a follow-up to last May’s successful Self Made Vol. 1 and will feature the previously leaked “Bag of Money,” featuring Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill and T-Pain, which officially debuts today on 106 & Park. Omarion is confirmed to appear on the album.

The release dates for the remainder of MMG’s output were also announced. French Montana‘s Excuse My French will be up next with a release on July 17th; Rick Ross’ highly anticipated God Forgives, I Don’t will be released on July 31st; Meek Mill’s debut album Dreams and Nightmares will be released on August 28th; and Wale’s third LP, his second on Maybach Music, arrives at the very top of 2013.
