Waka Flocka Flame freestyles on Pitchfork’s ‘Selector’ [Video]

Waka Flocka Flame isn’t ashamed to admit he doesn’t freestyle (because his style ain’t free, so he says), but Pitchfork stole him anyway for the latest installment in their “Selector” series. For those unfamiliar, the video segment involves a rapper being handed two beats (which would generally be considered unconventional to their style) and given the choice to freestyle over only one.

Catching up with Waka Flocka (and Momma Flocka) at a tattoo parlour, host Eavvon O’Neal chats to the Brick Squad member about his ink work and collaborating with producers Lex Luger and Southside before making him choose between “The Good Kids” by Lunice and “City Star” by Rustie.

No spoilers, though. Watch below to find out which beat Flocka picks and how well (or not so well) he freestyles.
