Tyga says Young Money will release another group album | Music News

Perhaps it’s rival crew G.O.O.D. Music‘s stranglehold on 2012 that’s prompted discussion, but Young Money are working on a second compilation album, according to Tyga. In an interview Boston’s JAM’N 94.5 during Hot 97’s Summer Jam on Sunday, the label’s Californian recruit revealed plans for a follow up to YMCMB’s 2009 LP, We Are Young Money.

“We was talking about [recording another Young Money album] the other day, actually,” he said. “I just got back from overseas, so I talked to Wayne the other day and we are doing another Young Money album… [Wayne’s] working on his album and Drake’s on tour, Nicki’s on tour, I’m on tour, so it’s crazy.”

Tyga also dropped a reminder about his forthcoming sequel to Fan of a Fan with Chris Brown, which was announced back in April.

“I’m actually about to work on an album with Chris Brown, we’re doing Fan of a Fan 2, so I gotta get back to L.A. after this and start working on that.”

Obviously no release schedule has been announced for the Young Money album as of yet. Watch the full interview below.
