Tupac hologram may go on tour | Music News
What was undoubtedly the most popular moment of last weekend’s Coachella happenings may be heading to other destinations, too. According to the Wall Street Journal, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are in talks to bring the hologram of Tupac Shakur on a possible joint tour.
Currently, Dre and Snoop are planning the logistics of such an event, discussing the possibility of an arena tour featuring the two of them alongside the 2Pac hologram or a package tour that will add other stars like Eminem and 50 Cent to the lineup.
In what could have been a heated, controversial concept, the hologram has since received the approval of Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur, who is known for being highly protective of her son’s posthumous image. According to TMZ, Ms. Shakur agreed to the plan beforehand and was “thrilled” with how the performance played out.
