The xx discuss recording, rehearsing and performing in three-part documentary [Video]

Having mesmerised us with their incredible cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas” earlier today, here’s an intimate three-part documentary on London’s indie-pop trio The xx, courtesy of Pitchfork TV.

The fifteen-minute film, directed by photographer and film-maker Jamie-James Medina, head of XL imprint Hot Charity, gives us a closer look into how the band make and present their music. The three videos show the Mercury Prize-winning trio of Jamie, Oliver and Romy as they record, rehearse and perform some of their tracks, and includes footage of the group delivering their Coexist tracks “Fiction“, “Angels“, and “Tides“.
