The Next Move: A Conversation With J. Cole at Harvard [Video]

North Carolina emcee J. Cole takes a break from the promotion of eagerly awaited Born Sinners album to drop a few jewels on the students at Harvard in a special discourse entitled “The Next Move: A Conversation with J. Cole.”

The rapper, who is an alumnus of St. John’s University, speaks openly about his past including his early musical favourites – Kool Moe Dee, Bobby Brown, Michael Jackson – his well documented NBA aspirations, rapping with his friends, politics, the Grammys and many more topics.

It’s always a good look for hip-hop when one of its own can shine a positive light on the community in such an esteemed institution. It’s a Cole World everywhere, even in The Ivy League.
