The Grammy Awards – Winners List

52ndgrammysWe laughed, we tweeted, we occasionally flicked over to watch 24 in boredom.  Today’s sleep and sanity deprivation can partly be attributed to the annual Grammy Awards, which took place in LA last night.

Big wins of the evening saw Beyonce scooping SIX awards [the most won by a female in the history of the event], Taylor Swift winning four and Jay-Z with three – with other notable wins including Maxwell, India Arie, Eminem and Stephen Marley.

After the elation of well-earned selections [e.g. Maxwell‘s first ever Grammy wins], the frustration of limited categories [i.e. most of them] and the general tedium of lengthy award shows… Here are this year’s Grammy winners, for those who missed it or need a reminder:
