Talib Kweli performs tribute to MCA & new song live in Toronto, Canada [Video]


Last night Talib Kweli blessed the Great White North when he took to the stage at the famed Sound Academy in Toronto.
During the Prisoner of Consciousness sole Canadian outing, the proud Brooklyn native performed a live rendition of the Beastie Boy classic “No Sleep Til Brooklyn,” in tribute to fellow Brooklynite Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch, who recently succumbed to Cancer after years of battling the deadly disease. After his first MCA tribute, Talib turned the focus back to his music debuting an as-yet-to-be release song off his forthcoming LP. Not done with paying ode to the fallen legend Kweli then performed a second salute to MCA. Check out the footage below…
