T.I. discusses ‘Trouble Man’ album collaborations, working with Andre 3000 + new book [Video]

In a recent interview with Fuse in New York, a busy T.I. revealed which artists will appear on his forthcoming album, Trouble Man; set to drop on December 18th.

Veterans of the game Lil Wayne, R. Kelly and Cee Lo will all feature, as well as bloggers’ favourite A$AP Rocky, whose own southern influenced aesthetic should insert a new energy into proceedings. In addition, Tip is working with pop-singer Pink on a track entitled “Guns & Roses” – a union which might come as a surprise, but will hopefully be music for the trap rather than music for The Bratz.

A collaboration with southern legend Andre 3000 called “Sorry,” which he describes as ‘phenomenal’, seems rather more enticing. It’s been in the works for six years and will hopefully fit with the brief T.I.’s setting himself- mixing innovation with ‘vintage’ T.I., then with now.

In the video below, the urban legend also talks about his latest book Trouble & Triumph and the visuals for recent track “Go Get It.”  Insistent that his own character hasn’t changed over the course of his career, he says, “Money doesn’t change a person. It changes the things around a person.”
