SWV comeback album I Missed Us set for Spring release | Music News

Nineties R&B female trio Sisters With Voices, better known as SWV are making a comeback. The gospel turned R&B group became one of the most successful R&B groups of the 1990s with a chain of hits, including “Weak” and “Right Here/Human Nature,” and three multi-platinum albums.

After parting ways in 1998 to pursue solo projects then reuniting in 2005, taking their classics on tour internationally, the ladies are now officially back with new album I Missed Us, featuring production from Lamb (Beyonce, Jasmin Sullivan, Missy Elliott, Monica), Bryan M. Cox and Jazze Pha .

“It’s a great feeling to be back recording together again! Something special always happens when we come together,” say SWV members Taj, Lelee and Coko in a statement.

I Missed Us will serve as the R&B group’s first release since their 1992 LP It’s About Time, and is to be released on April 10, 2012 through eOne Music / Mass Appeal Entertainment. Check out new track “Co-Sign” from the album here.

“As a long time fan, I am extremely excited to be a part of SWV’s highly anticipated return to music. They are one of the quintessential female groups of our time, and through our partnership, I’m looking forward to continuing their legacy together,” Marcus Siskind, President of Mass Appeal Entertainment.

What we thinking gang, can they come back as strong as before?
