Streets Is Watching: Jahlil Beats [Video]

Before he was one of the most sought-after producers in Hip-Hop, Jahlil Beats was just a kid named Orlando who happened to be in love with the music. The 23-year-old from the mean streets of Chester, Penn., started producing as a preteen under the tutelage of a couple relatives, only to sign with Roc Nation — one of the biggest entertainment companies in music — about a decade later.

The story of young Jahlil’s meteoric rise is one definitely worth telling, and his boss Jay-Z‘s internet home Life + Times has done just that with Streets Is Watching: Jahlil Beats, a documentary-style look into the life of the skinny kid with the heavy sound.
