Stalley – “Petrin Hill Peonies” (Harry Fraud Remix) | New Music

I think we can all agree that Block Beattaz did a pretty damn good job crafting Stalley‘s “Petrin Hill Peonies,” capturing his blue collared identity with their sample of Charles Bradley‘s “The World (Is Going Up In Flames).” But if you’re looking for something different from this particular Savage Journey to the American Dream cut, allow Harry Fraud 2-minutes-and-50-seconds of your time.

The New York producer, who has found fame in recent years through credits for the likes of French Montana (“Shot Caller”), Juicy J (“Stoner’s Night 2”) and Smoke DZA, whom he collaborated with for the Rugby Thompson LP, transplants Stalley’s vocals to a beat that leans more towards the style of his fellow Maybach Music representatives. Trickling drums, yawning vocal samples and a pounding bassline set the scene here.
