Stalley f/ Curren$y – “Hammers and Vogues” | New Music

After revealing this collaboration in a recent chat with Rolling Stone, Stalley today cuts the ribbon on “Hammers and Vogues”, a track from his upcoming LP Savage Journey to the American Dream, which pairs the Maybach Music rapper with Jet Life‘s pilot Curren$y.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, Stalley detailed:

“Originally I wasn’t going to have any features on Savage Journey to the American Dream, which is why I gave Curren$y a shout in my first verse, but in the final weeks leading up to the release, I decided that because I liked the project so much, I might as well add a few choice features to make the project even bigger. So I was down in Atlanta in the studio and Spitta came through. One day we may have to do a whole project together.”

Savage Journey to the American Dream will be an all-important step for Stalley as he looks to build on the success of Lincoln Way Nights and carry his sound to an album format. By the sounds of this new song, it’s shaping up to be a very smooth record. Look out for its arrival on March 30th.
