Stalley – “Everything New” (Prod. by Chad Hugo from The Neptunes) | New Music

From his early works such as the Terry Urban endorsed Going Ape mixtape, the all J Dilla sampling MadStalley: The Autobiography album to the widely acclaimed Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music) Stalley, whose ear for good music is arguably the best in the MMG camp (outside of Rick Ross), has chosen to tell his stories of many sample lead, soulful sound beds which has in turn placed him [for very good reason] in a certain Hip Hop typecast box that many Hip Hop heads gravitate to and others ignorantly shun.

It is believed that within every music artist’s career there must be evolution and ultimately elevation a notion the 330’s very own is not afraid to grasp on the first track from his forthcoming Savage Journey to the American Dream street album titled “Everything New.” The track produced by Chad Hugo, one half of The Neptunes, finds MadStalley “elevating” from his usual soulful sounding production safe zone to spit’ over a hard knocking beat that’s sharply reminiscent of that old Neptunes sound circa 1999-2001[ish]. “Everything New” is a great choice for the first look off the upcoming street album that will no doubt show “evolution” the Blue Collar Gang emcee’s versatility. Check out the track below…
