Snapshots: Nas shoots ‘Daughters’ video

Perhaps it’s the solid beats he’s been handed from Salaam Remi, Heavy D, Da Internz and No I.D.; whatever it is, Nas seems motivated. “Daughters,” the third single from his hugely anticipated 10th studio album Life Is Good, only hit the net seven days ago (it’s available on iTunes as of yesterday), but the Queensbridge poet is already hard at work on taking the song to the digital screen.

Today, we have a few behind-the-scenes snapshots to glare over until the video arrives in the next few weeks. Chris Robinson (credits includes Jay-Z‘s “Change Clothes”, Common‘s “Driving Me Wild” and more) handles the directing duties and, as you can see in the image below, Mr. Jones’ daughter Destiny makes an appearance.

As we now know, Nas will bless the world with Life Is Good on July 17th.
