With his much awaited debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, set to be blaring through our speakers from August 28th, The Source magazine have secured Meek Mill for the cover of their upcoming August/September issue.

The cover story, entitled “Ambitions Of A Rider” (a nod to his interest in dirt-bikes and ATVs), takes in-depth look into his rise to success, his personal life, and his evermore popular music. The Maybach Music gunner also elaborates on the musical direction of his forthcoming LP.

“It’s all about me thinking what type of first album am I gonna present to the people,” he says. “[I got] something for the streets, the clubs, storytelling, soulful songs, deep songs.”

In addition, the rapper finally speaks on the well-documented bottle-throwing incident that apparently took place between he and Chris Brown at a New York nightclub last month. “I was there, and sh*t got real. I had nothing to do with it. I don’t have a problem with Drake… It was a lot of unknown guys throwing bottles.”

Check out the behind-the-scenes happenings of the cover shoot below, and look for the new issue of The Source to hit stands soon.
