Snapshot: Lil Wayne unveils ‘Dedication 4’ mixtape artwork

Just yesterday, Lil Wayne and DJ Drama‘s Dedication 4 mixtape, the first installment in the well-received series in four years, was both delayed from its original August 15th schedule, and then tagged with a new release date. Now ready to set the interstreets ablaze “in like another week or so,” the Cash Money rapper-turned-skater unveils the artwork (which was fan-made) for his highly anticipated project.

Weezy also served up the first sample of D4 yesterday with his freestyle over 2 Chainz and Drake‘s “No Lie” beat. Although he sounded his usual self-assured, pussy-infatuated and drugged-up self, fans shouldn’t be so quick to presume “Dedication Wayne” will make a comeback on the new tape. In his latest DEWeezy webisode, also released yesterday, the rapper said he’s more in love with skateboarding than music right now. Gulp(?).
