Skylar Grey unearths her demos with The Buried Sessions | Music News

Having won us thoroughly over with tracks like “Words” [her version of the Lupe Fiasco hit single “Words I Never Said,” which she originally co-wrote], Wisconsin-born singer/songwriter Skylar Grey is set to highlight her collaborative writing with the release of upcoming EP The Buried Sessions of Skylar Grey on January 17th.

Having recently unleashed the artwork for it [above], the project is set to feature her full, original solo versions of hits she’s penned for others; such as the aforementioned, as well as Diddy-Dirty Money‘s “Coming Home,” and the original demo of Eminem and Rihanna’s “Love the Way You Lie.”

The digital release is set to precede the singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist’s KIDinaKORNER/Interscope debut album, Invinsible.
