Shaggy x Beenie Man rock the Ranch Entertainment launch party in NYC [Video]

Shaggy recently hosted a party at Santos Party House in the heart of New York City to launch his new reggae fusion label Ranch Entertainment, Inc., and self-proclaimed King of Dancehall Beenie Man — who missed the grand opportunity to perform on the Summer Jam stage due to the well-documented spate between YMCMB’s Nicki Minaj and Hot 97 — made a surprise appearance.

The star, who recently regained his US work permit, rifled through classics from his nearly 20-year catalouge including “Dude,” “Girls Dem Sugar” “Who Am I?” and “Romie” on the Stalag riddim followed by the omnipresent Showtime riddim in a vintage sound system setting.

The Ranch Entertainment roster features Shaggy himself and longtime collaborators Rayvon and Red Fox, and the company’s mission is to develop and facilitate innovative strategies for up-and-coming artists to excel in the current market.
