ScHoolboy Q freestyles on Pitchfork’s ‘Selector’ [Video]

Following on from last week’s episode in which Waka Flocka Flame spectacularly failed at freestyling (sorry, Flocka), Pitchfork steal one of the most promising emcees in the game – who we know can rhyme off the dome – ScHoolboy Q for this latest Selector installment.

Arriving at an empty Pfizer building on a skateboard and wearing his trademark bucket hat (swag), ScHoolboy spoke on TDE‘s in-house production team, his creative process, being in a studio with Mos Def, The Alchemist and Kendrick Lamar and which element of a beat inspires him the most.

As is customary, host Eavvon O’Neal then gave Q the choice of two instrumentals, this week’s offering being between “Halloween” by Glass Candy and “Poline” by Squeaky Lobster. No spoilers, though, just rest assured that Quincey killed it. As always.
