ScHoolboy Q discusses sophomore album, past affiliation with Tyga + more [Video]

Prior to his show in Las Vegas a few weeks ago, Black Hippy‘s ScHoolboy Q chopped it up with Nevada’s Mr. Hip-Hop Bootleg Kev to speak on a range of topics. Q touched base on performing at this year’s Hot 97 Summer Jam, his “L.A. Puffy” nickname, his role as the more “ignorant” rapper in Black Hippy, his affiliation with Tyga (one that’s now “over” he says, but no beef involved), quitting lean and more.

ScHoolboy also spoke on his sophomore album, which will be released via Aftermath/Interscope/Top Dawg Ent., revealing that’s he’s about 40% through recording and he’s switched up the sound twice already.
