Saigon – “Rap Vs. Real” | Music Video

With the help of an incredibly graphic visual from Profitt Productions, New York rapper Saigon serves us the official video to his incredibly insightful track “Rap Vs. Real”.

The video, directed by Tha Profitt, depicts various circumstances that gradually are told throughout the song. Cutting from the fantasies rap music helps us to envision, and then jumping to the unfortunate, and in some cases tragic, realities of those actions. The track, taken from Saigon’s album The Greatest Story Never Told 2: Bread and Circuses, reveals the major differences between the unrealistic statements heard in rap music to the realities that occur in every day life. “There’s a very big difference between rap and what’s real”.

The Greatest Story Never Told 2: Bread and Circuses is available on iTunes now.
