Roc Marciano – “Bruh Man” | New Music

Long Island lyricist Roc Marciano is back with more of that gritty New York rap with his latest offering “Bruh Man”.

The beat is a claustrophobic drum and vocal loop that Lord Finesse first freaked for O.C. back in 1996 for his track “Jewelz” but Marciano sounds right at home on it as well. The bars are always on point when Roc grabs the mic and as usual, I lost count of all the similes and metaphors he employs. Special shouts for the “Bruh Man from the 5th Floor” reference (of Martin Lawrence fame) and the Eddie Caine from The Five Heartbeats reference – that was my movie.

If you aren’t hip to Roc Marciano yet, his breakthrough album Reloaded is available here via iTunes – and then you can join the lengthy list of fans waiting for more material from the NY spitter.
