Set to take America by storm as well as the UK, Rita Ora has been making the rounds in the US hitting up all the key spots for any new artist. After headlining at S.O.Bs in New York, the London-based songstress is now in LA taking on the Viper Room, showcasing her current singles as well as new material and a Destiny’s Child cover.
The 21 year old star in the making looked right at home taking to the stage at her sold-out gig, before performing her UK single “R.I.P” as well as the US debut “How We Do (Party),” also performing new tracks “Shine Your Light” and “Roc the Life.”
Ms Ora also sang a cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” which she had previously performed at the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party in front of mentor Jay-Z and her “idol” Beyonce. Before performing the song she explained, “I did this one time at an event back in New York and my idol [Beyoncé] was there, so I just thought it’s only right I do it again. This time she’s not here, but it takes the pressure off.”
