Rihanna talks ‘Take Care’ video and new album | Music News

Doing the rounds in London promoting her new film, Battleships, Rihanna took some time to stop in at Capital FM radio to talk about the much anticipated “Take Care” video with Drake as well as having a new album already in the works.

A week since the original release date, the video for the collaboration between Rihanna and Drake is still yet to be seen. With stills from the video showing the pair looking very intimate, the delayed released of the video has kept everyone on tenterhooks as to what the final outcome will actually be like, so Rihanna decided to shed some light on the situation.

During her interview with Capital, she describes the video as “beautiful” and “different than anything Drake has ever done.” Apparently, RiRi has already seen the final cut. “I saw it a couple of days a go, I love it. I can’t wait to see what all my fans think.”

Along with that, Drake himself also chatted it up with the guys at Capital, descrbing the video as “very intimate.” He went on to explain the concept: “It’s all basically the ups and downs of a relationship but represented in icebergs and fire and animals and just pulsating movement and then you’ve got me and Rihanna very intimate – kissing, hugging.”

Rihanna also spoke about a new album already being in the works despite only recently releasing her sixth studio album, Talk That Talk.

“I’m definitely thinking about the next record. I’m a multi-tasker so right now we’re working on collecting and creating the sound first before we even start working on the lyrical direction or melodies. I kind of have an idea though so I’m eager to start that.”

While we wait for new music, we will hopefully have the video for “Take Care” any day now so stay posted to SoulCulture.
