Rick Ross talks ‘Sixteen’ collaboration with Andre 3000, Biggie influence + more [Video]

Among a slew of press appearances in light of the release of his brand new album, God Forgives, I Don’t, Maybach Music boss Rick Ross sat down with Fuse to touch on essential topics. Rozay spoke on why he chose the title for his new LP (“I just wanted to approach the title like a film,” he explained), gave shout outs to the album’s producers, listed The Notorious B.I.G. as one of his biggest influences (“His demeanor, the way he carried himself, he was just so laid back, he was just so authentic, not to mention I felt he was the greatest emcee of all time,” he said) and offered some big statements about his GFID collaboration with Andre 3000, “Sixteen.”

“It was definitely the most unique record I’ve ever recorded” he said of the song, which he revealed was helped along by Skyping sessions. Never one to toot his own horn is he that Rick? Check out the brief interview below.
