Rick Ross talks possibility of signing Dom Kennedy + Nipsey Hussle, ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ + more [Video]

A day prior to the much-awaited release of their Self Made Vol. 2 compilation album, Rick Ross and his Maybach Music cronies stopped by New York’s Hot 97 radio spot yesterday, but, in a unique interviewing twist, got on the phone with Justin Credible and J Cruz of L.A.’s Power 106 to discuss matters.

Prior to the signing of Omarion (sorry, Maybach O) to his label, there were rumours circling online that West Coast representatives Dom Kennedy or Nipsey Hussle (both of whom Rozay has collaborated with) would recruit to the MMG ranks, and he addressed the topic accordingly in the interview.

“I’m fans of them dudes and that’s pretty much where it stands at,” he said. “We here, MMG here, if you phenomenal and you hungry and this is what you want to do, holla at us, it’s a possibility.”

Ross also spoke on his forthcoming solo album God Forgives, I Don’t (“It’s the best body of work I’ve ever put together” he boasted) and its two hot singles, “Touch ‘N You” featuring Usher and “So Sophisticated” with his running mate Meek Mill.
