Rick Ross scores first UK top 10 album with ‘God Forgives, I Don’t’ | Music News

Thankfully, God won’t have to offer any forgiveness as Rick Ross claims his most successful album in the UK to date with his much-hyped God Forgives, I Don’t. The record debuted on the UK Albums Chart at No. 7, giving the Maybach Music boss his first-ever top 10 album across the pond.

God Forgives, I Don’t pipped existing popular albums, Rihanna‘s Talk That Talk, Ed Sheeran‘s + and Adele‘s 21, to the seventh spot, while new entries Mike OldfieldsTwo Sides: The Very Best Of, Delilah‘s From The Roots Up and Conor Maynard‘s Contrast (which claimed the No. 1 spot) all outdid the Bawse.

Bolstered by features from Dr. Dre, Jay-Z and Andre 3000, God Forgives, I Don’t is expected to earn Rozay success in the U.S., too. According to HITS Daily Double, the album is expected to sell between 200-220k copies in its first week, and enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. The results come in this Wednesday (August 8th), so we’ll have to wait and see.
