Raheem DeVaughn x Styles P address the “Trigga Man” on Trayvon Martin tribute

As opinions and concerns continue to pour over the shock verdict this weekend that found George Zimmerman “not guilty” for the second degree murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, next up with a tribute track are Grammy nominated R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn and Yonkers rhymer Styles P.

Beginning with an extract from a speech made by President Barack Obama regarding the shooting, “Trigga Man” pays tribute to the late teenager by speaking directly to Zimmerman (aka ‘Trigga Man’) and pointing out various aspects of the case, which lead many to assume that Trayvon was victim to racial profiling.

“Beyond the colour of my skin, the hoody on my head/ Did you ever stop to think or was hatred on your mind?”
