Previously… on SoulCulture: Odd Future, Wiley, Ed Sheeran, iTunes Festival, Thundercats & more

Let’s rewind and pull up some of our hottest posts from last week on SoulCulture. We brought you a trailer load of new music from Jessie J, Frank Ocean and Lewi White and co, new videos from Raekwon x Nas and Beyonce and reviewed Ed Sheeran live and A Tribe Called Quests’ highly anticipated documentary.

For the fans who missed out, we gave you some highlights from Odd Future‘s show at the Electric Ballroom in London and brought you the video of when Tyler, the Creator caught up with the big troll dog Tim Westwood, who interviewed Tyler who ended up walking/hopping out.. rewind on the video to see why..

Some more Odd Future for you, after the amazing visual for Frank Ocean‘s “Novacane“,  the man behind the video Nabil Elderkin recalls meeting Frank Ocean and directing his video – we brought you the excerpts from that interview here.

Summers music festivals are well under way and we recapped some highlights from Adele and Bruno Mars performances at the iTunes Festival –  also from the festival you enjoyed Linkin Park covering an unlikely choice of Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep”.

For all our fellow geeks we brought you the preview of ThunderCats season premiere – 9 minutes of geek bliss!

All you fly guys and fly girls revisited these beauties – Fiat 500 by Gucci; where cars meet clothing with a selection of collection of clothing and accessories by Gucci and Fiat. Oh you fancy huh?

In true SoulCulture fashion we took it back to a classic album from 1993, Mariah Carey’s Music Box and revisited the creative process from the iconic album with co-writer Walter Afanasieff.

Some of the best in music dropped official new videos – Beyonce donned a wedding dress for the visuals for “Best Thing I Never Had”, two kings of hip hop Raekwon and Nas showed us how they do in “Rich and Black” and our homegrown hero Ed Sheeran gave us some visuals for one of his most personal songs “Small Bump.”

Out of all the gems we dropped on you last week, you were feeling Xaphoon Jones remix of  Jessie J‘s “Who’s Laughing Now”, the heavyweight UK link up between Lewi White, Ed Sheeran, Griminal, Devlin & Yasmin on the track “Young Guns” (see the video here), some more magic from Frank Ocean entitled “Dreamkilla”, Pusha T and Tyler The Creator‘s Neptunes produced “Trouble On My Mind” and erm… Cher Lloyd‘s new ‘offering’ “Dub On A Track”. (I was riding with you until Cher Lloyd..)

The free downloads Gods blessed us with some treats – a summer mix from Tyler The Creator (you lot  had Odd Future feeva!), Wiley, DJ Whoo Kid and Ashley Cole (yes Ashley Cole.. Creating a Buzz mixtape, The Cool Kids full album stream and the Chill Out Zone EP from Wiley Cat. Ah yeah.

We broke down A Tribe Called Quest’ documentary, Beats, Rhymes & Life and Ed Sheeran’s gig live in London.
