Phil Adé remixes Tyga’s “Faded” | New Music

Most “you should listen to” commands are nothing but empty pretense that’ll lead you down an anti-climatic trail until you realise those claims were exaggerated hugely and the music isn’t really that “groundbreaking”. If there comes a day that you do decide to follow orders, there aren’t many better names to start than with than Phil Adé.

On a constant climb to reach his potential – a metaphor more comparable to the steady speed of an escalator than a pop single’s pace of an elevator – the DMV-bred rapper has a rich catalogue of cohesive mixtapes and incredible singles (exhibit a: “The Letter“) to window shop before you buy into his sound (and trust me, you eventually will).

#PhilAde2 was the last full-length release from Mr. Adé and has made its travels far and wide rather comfortably (the tape currently sits on over 16,000 downloads on DatPiff alone) to lead his flourishing career into its next stage. Tyga‘s “Faded” hit serves as the wheels for Phil Adé’s latest venture as he marks a line of lyrical prowess and animated swagger to separate his “Hatin'” version from the original.

Listen below and be sure to add free releases like The Letterman (which features the aforementioned “The Letter”), A Different World and #PhilAde2 to the playlist. You wouldn’t want to deprive your iTunes of hits like the Casey Veggies-assisted “P.O.P.” now, would you?
