Peter Rosenberg declares it the ‘Rick Ross era’ [Audio]

As he tends to do from time to time, Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg dedicated a few minutes of his air time to delivering a heartfelt message to the Hip-Hop world. While his last big spiel touched on what he sees Nicki Minaj‘s sellout status, his latest installment is giving all praise to Rick Ross and the precipice of greatness on which he stands:

“If Ricky Rozay’s next album, God Forgives, I Don’t, is as good as his previous work, Ross will hands down be the #1 MC in the game today — and there’s no close second place,” Rosenberg declared.

Tall claims, indeed.

Rosenberg pleads the Bawse’s case, declaring that one more good album would officially make this the “Rick Ross Era” and each of us witnesses to an all-time level of consistency and quality.

“You gotta deal with the facts — beats, rhymes, the character, the consistency, the charisma; the dude has it all,” he campaigned.

Rosenberg also cited Ross’ impressive mixtape catalogue and the fact that he survived multiple character attacks from 50 Cent as further evidence of his eminence.

Rosenberg has spoken.
