Papoose records Trayvon Martin Tribute | New Music

Paying homage to slain teenager Trayvon Martin, rapper Papoose has put together a tribute sampling old African American spiritual song “Wade in the Water.”

The New York rapper translates the devastating chain of events through rhymes, starting with the 911 call made by George Zimmerman, the neighbourhood watch volunteer who shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon allegedly acting in self defence against the boy who was carrying a can of iced tea and skittles.

It has been a month since the tragic shooting took place in Florida and Zimmerman has yet to be arrested or charged with a crime. Read the latest details of the case here and check out Pap’s track in rememberence of Travyon below.
