Oddisee – “The Carter Barron” | New Music

Mello Music Group and prolific DC Hip-Hop producer Oddisee let loose this new song titled “The Carter Barron” which is off of Oddisee’s forthcoming instrumental album Rock Creek Park – an ode to Washington DC’s famous park of the same name. The song “The Carter Barron” is itself named after the park’s outdoor performance venue which has seen performances from the likes of Ella Fiztgerald, Harry Belafonte, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and The Temptations amongst others. Check out the song below which sees Oddisee team up with DC instrumentalists Jon Laine (Drums) and Dennis Turner (Bass) as well as Ralph Real on keys to create a delicious 3:54 minutes of instrumental heaven.

Oddisee’s Rock Creek Park will be released early on iTunes on August 23rd with an official release date set for September 6 everywhere else but you can pre-order the album from HERE.
