Odd Future accused of attacking teenage fan during live show in Texas

Multiple members of the hip hop collective Odd Future have been accused of unleashing a brutal beat-down on a teenage fan during a show in San Antonio, Texas on December 8th.

According to TMZ, sources say the 17 year-old alleged victim, named Chassan Rasagi, suffered “lacerations on his head, scratches, and burns to his body,” not to mention (later) “two seizures” after jumping on stage in the middle of their live performance at the White Rabbit venue. Having been pushed back into the crowd by Hodgy first time round, he claims he was beaten by the group after being forced back onto the stage a second time by over-excited fans.

TMZ reports that the teenager has filed a police report with San Antonio’s police department and is gearing up to sue Odd Future for the attack (captured below), but the LA rap crew maintain that they acted out of self-defence.

In a statement to Pitchfork, Odd Future’s camp claim that Rasagi threw the first punch, whilst evidence from the youngster’s Twitter account also suggests he might not have been the most passive of victims.

Either way, this is ugly, and hopefully it doesn’t happen again.
