Obie Trice and Eminem working on “Richard” in the studio [Video]

In case you hadn’t heard, Obie Trice is making his comeback – for real this time. With his third studio album and first release in three years, Bottoms Up boasts a cast of new and familiar faces, namely contributions from his old pals Eminem and Dr. Dre.

Hyped about the reformed partnership, Trice lets loose this footage of Slim Shady and himself in the studio as they work on their Statik Selektah-produced album cut, “Richard”. As long time fans will gather, this album serves up that same brand of no-nonsense rap from Obie Trice we’ve been accustomed to on previous LPs, Cheers and Second Round’s On Me. And having had the pleasure of hearing the record in full before its release, I can tell you the Dr. Dre-produced “Bottoms Up (Intro)” hits just as hard as “Shit Hits The Fan”.

Bottoms Up is set to be released on April 3rd via Obie Trice’s Black Market Entertainment label.
