Soulful Canadian singer-songwriter Zaki Ibrahim‘s eye-catching video for “The Do” opens with an attention-grabbing, blood-stained-knife-wielding scene, setting the tone for a visual that keeps you interested from the minute you press play.

With a storyline about a woman who suffers some life-changing consequences after letting her dream slip from her grasp, the strangely enchanting Christian Denslow-directed video sees Ibrahim fight with her many personalities whilst telling the story with her serene voice.

“The Do” is taken from Ibrahim’s debut album Every Opposite, a 14-track opus incorporating a blend of pop, indie, soul, Hip-Hop and afrobeat. The album is out now, and you can stream the album in full below.
