It appears as though his recent stint on the road with Disclosure has had a significant influence on Vic Mensa‘s audio output of late and, following his take on the British duo’s “When A Fire Starts To Burn,” the Chicago raised rapper continues down the dance music inspired side of things with his new single “Down On My Luck.”

Vastly different from the critically acclaimed material that formed the applause worth INNANET mixtape release, Mensa’s latest song – produced by himself and Childish Gambino’s DJ Stefan Ponce – will most likely be a huge club hit around the world with its catchy singing and melodies over the house styled soundbed, at the same time will split fans of the young musician’s opinions.
