Known for his reggae rock, Courtney John teams up with producer The Wizard [Beres Hammond’s daughter] and musician Steven ‘Lenky’ Marsden for The Courtney John Project – birthing a ‘Rootstronic’ genre with a unique mash up of reggae vibes and hard-hitting electronic beats. For their new single “Black Cinderella,” originally by Errol Dunkely in 1972, the group put a contemporary twist on an old classic.
