Kendrick Lamar’s “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe“, one of the best moments on good kid, m.A.A.d city, is a track that probably never needs to be remixed.
Try telling that to Star Slinger, a home-grown, Manchester-based producer who takes his influences, and many of his remixes, from the world of U.S hip hop. Star Slinger’s a producer with a proven track record when it comes to turning sad sound-beds into glistening sunbeds.
He’s previously done a great job adding glitter to melancholy tracks such as Gold Panda’s “Marriage” and Drake‘s “Over My Dead Body“, without taking anything away from the original compositions.
