Goodie-Mob-Janelle-Monae

Goodie Mob crank up the momentum as the release of their forthcoming fifth studio album draws ever near. We get a look at their new high school-themed music video for “Special Education” as we see the Atlanta Hip-hop group given mini-versions of themselves in this John Columbo-directed cut.

An immaculately dressed Janelle Monáe also gets a life like mini-me, as she joins in this celebration of anti-segregation singing on the hook:

“I don’t wear the clothes you wear. I’m just different, I don’t care. It’s kinda sad, and it’s a shame. Everyone wants to be the same. It’s OK to be afraid. Don’t you want to be special?”

Goodie Mob‘s Age Against The Machine album is scheduled for release on August 27 2013 on Elektra/Warner Bros Records.
