Lawrence, Massachusetts’ very own Termanology and Statik Selektah are combining forces once more as 1982. A throwback to the emcee and producer/DJ combo of rap’s golden era — reminiscent of Eric B and Rakim or Gang Starr — the underrated duo has been crafting an impressive catalogue of songs with a simple formula and even simpler goal of bringing the boom bap back to rap.

With the release of their new album 2012 on the horizon, the duo has unveiled the tracklisting and artwork for the upcoming record. Featuring the likes of Roc Marciano, Crooked I, Bun B, Freddie Gibbs and Havoc, 1982 will be taking us back to a glorious-sounding future with 2012.
