Ne-Yo – “My Road (Do My Thing)” [Estelle Reference Track]

Late in February we heard Estelle‘s upbeat, self-expressive ladies anthem “Do My Thing” alongside Janelle Monae, from her third studio album All Of Me – and we’ve now got our hands on the original reference track by multi-talented R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo.

Written by Ne-Yo with the help of Miykal Snoddy, Warren Zavala and Tyler Reynolds, the reference track hears the R&B star tackling the high-pitched, feminine notes on the energetic track in a way we’ve never heard him sound before. Check both versions out below.
