Nas – ‘Daughters’ | Behind The Scenes Video

Following the snapshots from the video shoot, Complex take us behind the scenes of Nas‘ “Daughters” music video.

Filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Chris Robinson (credits for Jay-Z‘s “Change Clothes”, Common‘s “Driving Me Wild” and more), the clip takes Nas out of the Queensbridge setting that has been the norm in so many of his previous videos, and into a suburban home to project his personal tale to the digital screen.

“The concept is really following the song. It’s about my daughter’s life,” he explains while on the set. “The video puts you right through her perspective, through her eyes, what she saw, how I assume she saw it.”

Stay tuned for the video to arrive soon and remember – Life Is Good drops July 17th.
