Young Jeezy ft. Lil Wayne – “Ballin” | Official Video

Just over 72 hours after what would have been the late great Tupac Shakur‘s 40th birthday, CTE capo Young Jeezy‘s Above The Rim influenced visuals to his recent internet smash hit “Ballin” featuring Lil Wayne have hit the net, taken from his much talked about mixtape, The Real Is Back.

*UPDATE*
Updated with the official finished video.

The video is a remake of the Above The Rim film narrative where the Kyle Lee Watson character, played by recent CTE signee Freddie Gibbs (originally played by Duane Martin), is courted by Birdie, played by Young Jeezy (Tupac’s role), to jump ship from Shep’s team (Birdie’s big brother) to the drug dealer’s team. Having agreed to the switch during a meeting, Kyle Lee Watson (Gibbs) comes to his senses and turns down Birdie (Jeezy) minutes before the street basketball competition’s penultimate game is due to begin. Not wanting to take no for answer, and feeling equally disrespected, Birdie and Motaw (Birdie’s right hand man) threaten to do damage to Kyle Lee Watson during the game if he didn’t throw match.
