Taylor Berrett x Vita Chambers cover Drake’s “Take Care” [Video]

With lyrics evidently resonating with many the world over, the Rihanna-featuring title track from Drake‘s latest album Take Care has undergone another cover-transformation – this time by up and coming singer/songerwriter Taylor Berrett and Bajan songstress Vita Chambers.

Both artists are signed to SRP Music Group, which also houses Rihanna. Adding a serene and soothing element to the song, Chambers’ calming voice and sultry glances mesh well with Berrett’s singing and guitar playing.

“This was a very fun song to do, because the Drake verses that I sing are basically rapped in the original, so I really got to create my own melodies for much of it as we recorded the song,” Berrett comments. “The original record also has a very profound moodiness to it that translated well to our acoustic version.”
