Skepta – “Badman In Tivoli” | Music Video

After giving us “Castles” a couple of weeks back, Skepta drops off a new visual from his forthcoming Blacklisted album, this time for a track titled “Badman in Tivoli.”

The clip alternates between shots of the North London emcee out in the wilderness, burning newspapers and tellies like a sort of rural Tempa T, and news clips of the urban warfare that raged in Jamaica’s Tivoli Gardens, Kingston, as the Jamaican police tried to secure the extradition of notorious drug lord Christopher “Dukus” Coke. Flanked by Boy Betta Know conglomerates wearing all-white attire, Skepta doesn’t seem to pose quite so much of a threat, but it’s a dope concept anyway.
